The Bracken Basic Concept Scale Third Edition consists of the Receptive test (BBCS-3:R) and the Expressive test (BBCS-3:E). BBCS-3:R assesses children's cognitive and language development using non-verbal tasks, wile BBCS-3:E requires the child to verbally respond. The Bracken Basic Concept Scale, which aligns with IDEA 2004 requirements, can screen children for school readiness and identify those with developmental delays. The assessment's results can be used in conjunction with the Bracken Concept Development Program to plan intervention. The Bracken Basic Concept Scale is available in both English and Spanish.

The Dynamic Indicators of Basic Early Literacy Skills (DIBELS) 8th Edition is an assessment that can be used for benchmark screening and monitoring growth of students in grades K-8. The early literacy development tool is a valid dyslexia screener as well. DIBELS is aligned with the Common Core State Standards in Reading and is also a valid dyslexia screener. Starting in 2020-2021, DIBELS 8th Edition will replace DIBELS Next and DIBELS 6th Edition.

HMH Math Inventory is an assessment that can be used for universal screening and growth monitoring. The adaptive, computer-based test can be taken three to five times a year and includes an Early Numeracy screener, growth-mindset feedback, and read alouds in English and Spanish. The HMH Math Inventory was developed with guidance from the National Math Panel, the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics, and aligns with the Common Core State Standards.
