The WorkKeys Workplace Documents assessment is published by the ACT company and measures skills that individuals use when they read real workplace documents and use that information to make job-related decisions and solve problems. The documents include messages, emails, letters, directions, signs, bulletins, policies, websites, contracts, and regulations. The test is 55 minutes and 35 items. It represents 5 levels of difficulty and can be used in combination with the WorkKeys Applied Math test and the WorkKeys Graphic Literacy test to award a student the National Career Readiness Certificate.
The Workplace Documents Assessment of the ACT Workkeys evaluates a candidate’s ability to solve problems and make job-related decisions through the use of real workplace documents. This assessment is required in order to earn the NCRC. These documents may include:
